From receipt of the goods to final assembly, we check and test each step in the creation of every ALNO brand kitchen. Shelves are tested for carrying capacity.

Fittings must pass strict continuous tests. And all surfaces are subjected to comprehensive tests for abrasion light fastness and resistance to chemicals and steam.

HERITAGE

21 year old Carpenter Albert Nothdurft opened a wood-working workshop out of his parental home in his hometown of Wangen in 1927.

Just a few years saw the wood-working business turn into a successful furniture producer, and so it was in 1958 that Nothdurft took the step from tradesman’s business to industrial undertaking – ALNO Mobelwerke GmbH + Co. KG in Pfullendorf.

The ground had been prepared for practical innovations, first-class quality and award-winning design.

Just a few years saw the wood-working business turn into a successful furniture producer, and so it was in 1958 that Nothdurft took the step from tradesman’s business to industrial undertaking – ALNO Mobelwerke GmbH + Co. KG in Pfullendorf.

German-manufactured kitchens soon became popular around the world and in 1969, ALNO began to expand into other European countries, arriving in the UK in 1974.

Today, with some 6,000 sales partners in 64 countries, ALNO is one of the world’s leading kitchen manufacturers, thanks to a long tradition and well-founded experience.

ALNO AG won the iF communication design Award in early 2014 in three categories: Corporate Design, Cross-media campaign and for the ‘Living Book.’ With its campaign “One thing´s for sure: ALNO,” the company created positive brand recognition and distinguished itself from the competition. Its all-embracing communication was commended at the same time. The iF communication design award 2014 was determined by a high-ranking jury of international design experts for outstanding design in the field of communication.

AlnoStar Cera’s design also rises above all others on international markets as well. This is confirmed by its nomination for the “German Design Award 2013,” where Alno proves itself against the very best on the design scene.
